Barr-ban Woodworks is the studio & workshop of Japanese carpenter and woodworker Toshi Kawabata. In his warehouse and workshop in Alhambra, California, Toshi designs and crafts one-of-a-kind custom furniture, including wood slab tables, cabinetry, carvings and other forms of art using a variety of hard and soft woods.
Toshi also applies his considerable carpentry skills to site-built specialties, such as garden gates and fences, doors and windows, screens and grilles, and even stairways and flooring. He considers each project an opportunity to create something special.
